Mr. and Mrs. Geofrey Lubambula
Upon that disappointment, we began researching an East African honeymoon and realized that some hotels are known for destination weddings. We were thrilled to enjoy our flights over to Tanzania, then on to Zanzibar Island for our wedding and 5 night stay on the beach. Geof’s favorite memories are the swimming every day (he’s quite the fish!) as well as the Stone Town Tour with “Chief Tour Guide” as our leader. I enjoyed the wonderful Italian food (our resort was owned by Italians!) and a beautiful sunset boat ride with local music.
“Many times you have friends. And when they get new friends, they will leave you. But the two of you got each other and you did not forget about us. You did not leave us.”
Lubambula Family Introduction and Party...
Recently, I have decided to start printing recipes from my teacher and taping them inside my kitchen cabinets…. IN LUGANDA! The recipe below, for "emboga", is a recipe for cabbage! It is instructing me to cut cabbage, carrots, onions, green peppers, and tomatoes. After that, I fry them in a tiny bit of oil… beginning with onions and adding different ingredients one by one. It is a quick simple recipe that I will actually be trying out tonight! (Geof and I often take cooked cabbage at restaurants and we love it… I have no idea why I haven't cooked it at home yet!)
I also typed up a calendar (on top) of when certain foods are in season so I can be sure to get my fill of them while they are cheap!
Contact and Support
Geof is earning a salary which contributes to our monthly needs, but with a grown man in the house who can take up to 4 eggs and 3 slices of bread for breakfast, monthly costs have increased! Would you pray about partnering with our monthly needs?
